Turbocharger is an important part used to improve engine power and reduce exhaust emissions. Due to improper use, maintenance and maintenance, prone to failure, leading to the engine can not work normally. This paper introduces some common faults of turbocharger and their treatment methods as follows:

The spill

Phenomenon one: oil consumption, but the exhaust smoke color is normal, power is not reduced.

Reason: This condition is usually caused by leakage of oil.

Treatment:

1. First, check whether the external oil pipe of engine lubrication system (including supercharger inlet and return pipe) is leaking oil;

2. Check the supercharger exhaust outlet for oil. If oil is present, the turbine end seal ring is judged to be damaged and should be replaced.

Phenomenon two: oil consumption, exhaust smoke blue, but the power does not drop.
